Praying in Solidarity with Australia

There is great power in unified prayer and during this time of hardship in Australia � our neighbour across the Tasman Sea we are invited to join them in the \'Jesus Have Mercy Prayer.\'�The National Council of Churches in Australia have declared a National Day of Prayer on Sunday 22 August. At all services people are invited to pray for local, national and global communities experiencing great need and distress caused by COVID-19.�Here in Aotearoa New Zealand we have many close links with people living in Australia � friends, family and associates. Now that we are locked down this week, let us join in solidarity, praying as �The Church Together.�
